Blood gas analysis is an important diagnostic tool for assessing lung function and can provide valuable information when diagnosing lung diseases, particularly in situations where there is impaired gas exchange.

In diseases like COPD, Asthma, ILD or pulmonary fibrosis, blood gases help to gain a better understanding of the development of the disease and can also help to monitor response to treatment.
