Niederlauer (D)/Nyon (CH), 21.12.2022: GANSHORN Medizin Electronic GmbH, part of the SCHILLER Group, and Sport and Médical Technologies S.A. (SMTEC) announce their strategic partnership. GANSHORN will take over the manufacturing, marketing, sales and support of SMTEC’s products with immediate effect.
SMTEC’s core equipment, EucapSys and AltiTrainer, are designed for the production of breathable gas mixtures. Dr. Stefan Ponto, Executive Vice President of GANSHORN, sees great opportunities in the partnership: “SMTEC is a world-renowned market leader in research institutes in the fields of alternative bronchial stress test methods and altitude simulation. Our goal is to leverage and continue SMTEC’s excellent reputation and specific know-how and make them available to a broader market through GANSHORN’s established distribution partnerships.”
SMTEC’s products have represented the state-of-theart in the highly specialized field of producing and dispensing breathing air mixtures for more than two decades. They are established in over 22 countries.
